Step into a moment of joy, connection, and discovery with this interactive petting zoo experience featuring some of Elijah’s Retreat’s youngest residents! Participants will have the opportunity to hold and gently interact with baby goats (just two weeks old!) and one-week-old bunnies, creating a calm, hands-on experience that many find soothing and memorable. Alongside the cuddles, Elijah’s Retreat staff and the Tyler Junior College Animal Science Department will share age-appropriate insights about animal care, behavior, and the role animals play in learning, regulation, and connection. Attendees can ask questions, learn fun facts, and gain a deeper appreciation for these animals and how they are cared for. This session offers a perfect blend of sensory-friendly interaction, education, and pure happiness—ideal for children, families, and anyone who finds comfort and curiosity in animals.
