This hands-on workshop provides autistic young adults with a supportive, low-pressure space to explore storytelling through comic strips. Participants will learn how to use panels, dialogue, and visual structure to express ideas, humor, and everyday experiences. The session emphasizes clarity, flexibility, and accessibility: drawing skill is not required, and simple figures, symbols, or words are encouraged. Focus is on storytelling, creativity, and self-expression, not artistic perfection. Participants can work independently, and sharing is always optional. Sensory and communication needs are fully respected, creating a safe environment for all. No prior writing or comic experience is necessary—this is a space to experiment, create, and have fun while telling your story.
