Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in this fun, interactive pottery session led by Dave Funk, a pottery instructor at Tyler Junior College. Participants will learn the basics of throwing cups and bowls on the pottery wheel in a relaxed, supportive environment. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to try something new. This hands-on session celebrates learning through doing, encourages creativity, and reminds us that functional art can be both useful and joyful. Expect laughter, learning, and yes—some mess is guaranteed. This session is perfect for anyone looking to experience the therapeutic, confidence-building benefits of working with clay while having a great time.
